Abstract

Various transformations in Contemporary Society come from the development of science and technology, which provoke social, political, cultural,
environmental and economic changes. Research initiated in 2003 by a research group from a Science and Technology Institution - ICT in Bahia revealed the
nutritional value of the licuri fruit, as well as the continuity of research and extension to the community made possible the creation of Social Technologies (TS)
Among them the TS Lanyards of Licuri, which has been contributing to the strengthening of the productive chain of the fruit, adding value and improving the
living conditions of those who have the fruit as a source of income.
