Abstract

This research aimed to understand the innovative behavior in technology companies of Santa Catatina. The study was conducted using a descriptive and
qualitative approach research, being operationalized by means of a multiple case study. Interviews were conducted with four managers from technology companies. It stands out as major opportunities stimuli, the innovative features of each individual as well as the incentive to take risks. Already challenges are considered the environmental aspects, strengths and weaknesses of the company.
