Abstract

In recent years, many agile methods have emerged with the promise of time savings in projects. Among these methods, Scrum has gained fame as an agile development method oriented to project management that explicitly prioritizes return on investment. This article discusses the use of the Agile Scrum method for digital innovation and presents the experience report on the use of Scrum and the consequent learning of the method, given that none of those involved knew it, for the development of a digital solution. The narrative presented here is justified by the need to understand better how to learn agile methods. At the end of the activities, it was clear that experiencing the Scrum framework in a practical activity contributes in a relevant way to the better understanding and assimilation of its concepts.
