Resumo

The objective of this research was to analyze the entrepreneurial skills training strategies used by an IES in the west of Santa Catarina. The study was conducted from a qualitative and descriptive study, which was operationalized through a case study. In order to perform the triangulation of the data, interviews, documentary analyzes and observations were carried out. The data were collected from evidence of teaching, research and extension of HEI. It was identified the teaching of the discipline of entrepreneurship in different undergraduate courses; Research groups have been highlighted, focusing on the study of entrepreneurship, innovation and small companies; And in what concerns the extension, activities of fomenting to the entrepreneurship in the internal and external scope of the IES were mapped. Finally, it is inferred that the actions mapped lead to the development of some entrepreneurial competence
