The employees personal yearnings become of paramount importance for the<br>effectiveness of a proposed program. The training needs survey is a tool used by many companies to<br>identify training opportunities for a particular employee or team. This tool also determines the proposed<br>theme, in addition to the methods to be used for the execution of the training over a period. The<br>identification of a methodology appropriate to the profile of each organization, as well as the joint<br>definition of themes to be trained, improves the organizational climate, as well as transporting the<br>collaborator into the strategic planning of an organization aimed at innovation. This article, therefore,<br>intends to identify the relations existing between the survey of training needs and the employees<br>satisfaction with the themes and methods established by the companies. For that, a qualitative,<br>exploratory, descriptive and documentary research was carried out with employees in a software<br>development company in the Florianópolis region, Santa Catarina.
