This article aims to clarify<br>doubts about this topic, presenting an overview of Knowledge Services from the viewpoint of<br>Knowledge Management, revisiting their origins and how they relate to the development of the theme,<br>also presents how Knowledge Services are available in Organizations and what the benefits are in<br>their adoption. An economic view of the Services and the basic concepts of the area is presented, such<br>as Knowledge, the Services paradigm, and the Knowledge Service.
