Abstract

Abstract: Knowledge media act as mediating systems for reliable information in the most diverse areas of knowledge. Considering that governance models seek to promote the organization's interactions with its stakeholders, this paper presents the results of a research that sought to understand how knowledge media can contribute to this interaction process in the context of higher education institutions. As a result, it could be seen that the use of media by higher education institutions is related to: (i) promoting actions, (ii) disseminating information, (iii) sharing knowledge, (iv) promoting awareness ; (v) communication with stakeholders and (vi) complaints of irregularities.
