Abstract

With the growth of market competitiveness, companies need to work with
processes that meet and satisfy their customers and, for this, they resort to increasingly
better performance levels, which can be obtained with the use of management programs.
This work aims to present Knowledge Management and Innovation Management from a
strategic and formal perspective, in addition to highlighting the importance of investing in
the implementation of these processes within organizations. In this context, the relevance of
this work lies in studying the influence that knowledge management can exert on the
production system, from the point of view of innovations and process improvements,
enhancing its prospects of success through a literature review. We believe that the
intertwining of different types of knowledge management together with good people
management bring positive results.
