Abstract

The present article addresses the “Knowledge Management in the Public Sector”, using as a case study the extension project “Laboratório de Desenvolvimento de Cursos EAD”, linked to the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). The main objective is to identify good practices of Knowledge Management (KM) and conduct a preliminary diagnosis to enhance the organization and sharing of information and knowledge within the project. The research was carried out through documentary analysis, using participant observation. Questionnaires were applied based on specific checklists for KM in the public sector. Among the obtained results, the identification of issues with dissent among respondents stands out, which presents opportunities for discussion and improvement of Knowledge Management
