Abstract

Evolution shows that man had to adapt countless times to prosper. It is no different in the Knowledge Era, as many routines are being rethought in light of the technological tools available to the market. This article aims to describe the influence of socio-emotional skills, in particular proactivity, as fundamental points for learning in these new times, where Education 4.0 is the reference for training. For this, it uses a bibliographic-exploratory methodological line to develop the content, with a qualitative approach. In the end, learning through proactivity is the essence of Education 4.0 and that this will be the way to develop new skills. Also, points to be considered for the elaboration of public policies aimed at the new reality are listed.
