Abstract

Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) play a crucial role in promoting and developing sustainability-related themes, fostering the sharing and dissemination of initiatives that contribute to this process. These initiatives can help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and one way to identify them is by mapping extension actions using textual content analysis to identify sustainability components and their relationship with the SDGs. In this context, the use of computational tools such as text classification models based on transformer architecture proves to be efficient. The use of classification models allows for the analysis of large amounts of text automatically, providing quantitative data that helps in building institutional knowledge about SDGs.
