Abstract

One of the challenges to be addressed by young adult student education and the professional future of the 21st century is to apply new learning strategies and practices focused on the individual who learns. This article aims to describe the theoretical foundations of a new teaching-learning method that responds to the current challenges of higher education. For the research method, action research is used in the Program / Projeto Sapientia Academy, a pilot project to apply the method. The proposed method of Neolearning consists of learning to learn by making, gathering and integrating four elements found in the literature: the four pillars of UNESCO, the 4Is, the concepts of experiential learning and active methods and technologies. The method is being applied in a pilot project, Sapientia Academy.
