Abstract

The rapid evolution of quantum technology represents a paradigm shift in information processing, with far-reaching implications for knowledge management and the potential to revolutionize various sectors of society. The classical system technologies currently in use will inevitably need to address the growing complexity of Human-Machine integration processes, requiring us to coexist harmoniously with this emerging reality. Quantum technology, by harnessing the principles of superposition and entanglement, promises to transform the ways in which knowledge is generated, structured, and utilized.

This research aims to analyze the impact of quantum technologies on knowledge management. To this end, it proposes a literature review followed by a discussion of the theories presented by leading quantum scientists, seeking to understand how these emerging technologies may enhance knowledge management practices.

Preliminary findings suggest that quantum technology holds significant potential to improve knowledge management systems, enabling exponentially faster data analysis and facilitating the resolution of complex problems. However, challenges such as high implementation costs, elevated energy consumption, security risks, and the need for specialized expertise must be thoroughly investigated.

In this context, it is evident that quantum technology represents an unprecedented advancement capable of redefining paradigms in knowledge management, offering novel approaches to optimize processes and innovation strategies. Future research should emphasize the ethical and operational frameworks necessary for the effective integration of quantum technology into knowledge ecosystems.
