Abstract

The article presents an integrative review of the challenges and trends in digital transformation within the banking sector, aiming to answer the following question: What are the main challenges and trends in digital transformation in the banking industry? The analysis focuses on the adoption of new technologies, such as big data, artificial intelligence (AI), and blockchain, as well as customer experience management, which are crucial factors for the competitiveness of financial institutions. By integrating emerging technologies, traditional banks and fintechs seek to enhance operational efficiency and personalize services to meet the growing expectations of customers. However, challenges such as the need for cultural change, organizational adaptation, and risk management remain. The article concludes that financial institutions that align technological innovation with a customer-centric approach will gain a competitive edge and greater sustainability in the market.
