In an organizational environment marked by rapid transformations and in-tense competition, creativity has become a critical differentiator. Work teams have taken on a central role in this process, serving as fertile ground for the generation of ideas and innovative solutions. Within this context, this study aimed to explore how leadership can influence team creativity, thereby en-hancing innovation and organizational competitiveness. The research is char-acterized as descriptive, qualitative in nature, and based on a theoretical-conceptual approach. An integrative literature review was conducted, draw-ing on studies indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. Data collection was carried out through bibliographic research, and the analysis was guided by content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that leader-ship plays a decisive role in fostering creativity within teams, as mutual trust and shared leadership enhances creative potential and supports the emer-gence of innovative solutions. Moreover, the leader’s role is essential in en-couraging the use of employees’ tacit knowledge and in transforming ideas into organizational value. Leadership styles such as transformational, partici-pative, empowering, ethical, and authentic were associated with the expan-sion of the team’s creative potential. The study concludes that leadership, when adopting practices that promote collective creativity, plays a strategic and structuring role in driving innovation and sustaining organizational competitiveness.
