Abstract

With the covid-19 pandemic in the world, production and export lines were affected, there was a shortage of personal protective equipment, with the respective increase in demand. This article analyzes how 3D printing enabled the domestic production of protective equipment, discussing how the application of design can assist in the propagation of social technologies capable of solving problems in different contexts and causing a positive impact on society.
