Abstract

Corporate portals are one of the essential tools to facilitate the implementation of the
process of Knowledge Management (KM) in organizations, being the central point of information of an institution. This article aimed to analyze the use of corporate portals as
effective tools for Knowledge Management at the Federal Institute Catarinense - Campus Camboriú. Through the application of a questionnaire, the institution's faculty, students and technicians were able to assess the existence of information and communication technologies
in the institution's portal that favored KM, as well as to measure the satisfaction level of its users in relation to technologies. In order to reach the proposed objective, a qualitative and
descriptive research was carried out, based on the K-ACT (Knowledge-Access, Creation and Transfer) methodology
