Abstract

Intrapreneurship, entrepreneurship and the chain of leadership within organizations have a great similarity in roles, especially in the development of organizational culture and strategy. However, there are organizations that seek an entrepreneurial culture, but do not create the suitable environment. This article is a literature review in order to understand the influence of leadership and the organizational environment on the development of intrapreneurship and point out future research. The results show that leaders and managers can create the best environment for the intrapreneur by stimulating creativity, learning and the formation of interdisciplinary teams, promoting employee autonomy. And the best strategy for this is to develop the entrepreneur and employees as leaders.
