Abstract

The social capital keeps an inheritance bold with knowledge management, because it works as a mediator, mainly in the creation and sharing of knowledge, both in organizational environment and in the context of social relations. The purpose of this integrative review is to synthesize the literature about the importance of social capital for knowledge management. A search in the data base Scopus between 2015 and 2020 was done to identify information which
attends the relation between the terms of social capital and management knowledge. The majority of the papers bring the social capital through the trust bonds, rules of reciprocity and solidarity, standards and systems, that give the possibility for people achieve benefits and advantages in many social structures. We verified a lack of research regarding the assessment and measure in the terms cited.
