Abstract

Responsible innovation is a recent topic that opens discussions that aim to foster sustainable results. The objective of the study was to analyze how the theme of responsible innovation has been explored in international scientific production. It is a bibliographic study, of an exploratory nature and a quantitative approach, based on bibliometric techniques. A search was carried out for scientific publications from the last decade in the Scopus and Web of Science databases, using the keywords “responsible innovation”, “social innovation” and “responsible research innovation”. The results show that this is a subject of recent discussion, with greater publication in the years 2020 and 2022. 218 articles were classified out of 1,333 found. The research makes a contribution to the development of future perspectives in the field of responsible innovation.
