Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify studies that have used methods and tools to measure the social impact of innovation ecosystems. We are primarily interested in identifying from the perspective of which stakeholders the impact assessment was measured. To this end, a systematic literature review (SLR) and bibliometric analysis were developed, using the Systematic Search Flow (SSF) method. We conclude that impact assessments are generally analyzed from the perspective of managers, decision makers, and professionals involved in innovation projects; and that there is no standardized assessment methodology that can be used to meet the different approaches. We identified that the combination of different methodologies is more appropriate, however, the lack of standardization can also be the greatest weakness of impact assessment.
