Abstract

Abstract: The organization and standardization of information on urban problems and solutions are essential challenges for sustainable city development. In this context, ontologies become valuable tools for knowledge management, providing a formal structure to organize and share data across different areas. This article explores the application of ontologies in the semantic web, with a focus on urban agriculture. Following a literature review, an experimental ontology was created for community gardens, integrating knowledge in areas such as agriculture and food commercialization. This proposal aims to facilitate the exchange of practices and strategies in urban agriculture, promoting sustainable urban development.
