Abstract

The purpose in this article is to analyze the role of Information and Knowledge Technologies (ICTs) in the enhance of learning processes, aiming the production of knowledge in formal education. To carry out the study, the methodology used is limited to documental and bibliographic research. For this purpose, the historical analysis of formal education from antiquity to the present day, as well as the current theories regarding interactive learning in the production of knowledge in constructive educational processes of knowledge, started. In this context, the role of the use of ICTs as learning resource is discussed, in the face of a networked world and a knowledge society in the process of formation. There were not in these resources only contributions to potentiate the learning process, but also to change the model of the educational process.
