Abstract

The growing adoption of mindfulness practices in corporations has attracted the attention of
scholars of leadership in organizations. The purpose of this article is to identify the evolution
of academic research on mindfulness associated with leadership through an integrative review
and to present suggestions for future studies. The result of this review shows that there is a
predominance of investigations that aim to evidence the effectiveness of mindfulness as a
support to the exercise of leadership in organizations. In addition, the analysis of the texts
reveals that the researches adopt quantitative, qualitative, mixed, and bibliographic methods.
