Abstract

This work analyzed the knowledge of Lean Startup and Design Thinking development methodologies by Startups leaders. A study of multiple cases at Hestia Technological Incubator of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) was conducted. The study was divided into two stages. The first stage consisted of selecting Startups and the accomplishment of the diagnosis, through a face-to-face interview, following a script of questions. In the second stage, the diagnosis was consolidated. In this way, familiarity with agile tools was verified and the main difficulties for its implementations were analyzed. Among the main results, it is noteworthy that there is knowledge of development tools on the part of all Startups interviewed. Finally, the main difficulties faced by entrepreneurs are presented.
