A STUDY ON BUSINESS INCUBATORS IN RIO GRANDE DO SUL STATE

Incubators play an important role in reducing the risk of new business mortality and, consequently, in the development of the ecosystem in which they operate. In this context, this work aims to determine the profile of incubators in the state of RS and point out the infrastructure and services offered for the development of incubated companies. The incubator sites were used for data collection. The twenty (20) incubators associated with the Gaúcha Innovation Environments Network (REGINP) were analyzed. REGINP is an important agent in structuring these incubators and the gaucho ecosystem as a whole. Most incubators offer infrastructure and services that support the development of incubated companies.

The AUTHOR further declares that the International Congress of Knowledge and Innovation - ciKi is fully authorized to use this article, in whole or in part, edited or complete, in Portuguese and in all other languages, in print, in Electronic means, internet, for commercial purposes or not, including distributing, adapting, creating derivative works, assigning rights to third parties in Brazil and / or abroad, including but not limited to: teaching, study and research; publication and dissemination; quote; use in general telecommunication means; audiovisual use in general, including all existing or future digital technologies, capable of storing and reproducing data.
