Abstract

The involvement with stakeholders to organize a more sustainable event is based on the mapping of the respective audiences. The segments of target audiences of Gastronomic and Cultural Events are especially the promoters, organizer, organizing team, sponsors, supporters, suppliers, exhibitors, press, community and participants. The focus of this research is to propose communication resources that involve and compromise the audience segments of those Events. Based on the basic requirements for the management of more sustainable events, indicated in ABNT NBR ISO 20121, the following actions were proposed: Relationship Manual, Experience Economy, More Sustainable Partnerships and In-person Meetings. Proposals to engage all audiences are essential for effective behavior change to take place in relation to more sustainable events.
