Abstract

This article is the result of qualitative research with an exploratory evaluative approach, developed between 2019 and 2020 in a service organization, as part of an MBA degree project at Eafit University. It focuses on the diagnostic of organizational knowledge, which is one of the initial processes of knowledge management. This diagnostic was developed around the organizational knowledge that the Quality Assurance Coordination (CAC) of Development Management of Credibanco in Bogotá, has about the process of certification of dataphones.
In order to understand the dynamics of organizational knowledge in the process of certifying versions of dataphones of the CAC team, we were able to initially analyze existing knowledge and missing knowledge, then evaluate the state of knowledge of the CAC, through the development of the knowledge inventory and the identification of gaps and knowledge flows. This was done through a knowledge audit in the CAC that made it possible to identify unknown strengths, as well as improvement opportunities in areas where a higher level of knowledge was expected.
