  • Proceedings of the XIII International Congress on Knowledge and Innovation (ciKi) - Preliminary Version
    2023

    The International Congress of Knowledge and Innovation (CiKi) is an inter-american event that promotes conceptual, methodological and practical advances in knowledge management, intellectual capital and innovation management.
    The International Conference on Knowledge Management (ICKM) aims to provide worldwide discussions on the most contemporary models of knowledge management.

    In 2023, a joint edition of the 18th International Conference on Knowledge Management (ICKM2023) and the 13th International Congress on Knowledge and Innovation (CiKi2023) was held in the city of Florianópolis, Brazil, organized by the Graduate Program in Engineering, Management and Media Knowledge (EGC) at the Federal University of Santa Catarina – UFSC (Brazil).

    Different universities and organizations came together sharing their experiences and research on all aspects of creation, innovation, co-production, distribution and use of knowledge in society.

    We thank the authors and reviewers and present the selected articles to the community. Good reading.

    The International Congress on Knowledge and Innovation (ciKi) is an inter-American event that aims to promote the conceptual, methodological and practical development of Knowledge Management, Intellectual Capital and Innovation Management. Throughout its history, this congress has consolidated itself as a forum for the exchange of ideas, experiences, strategies and relevant trends to promote the development of innovative ecosystems and environments, constituting a great opportunity for researchers, academics, graduate students , leaders and innovation managers to present the results of their research and experiences at an international event.

    The 12th edition of ciKi is held in a hybrid modality, under the theme Innovation and Inclusion: Generating Value for Social Development, coordinated by the Inter-American Higher Education Organization (OUI), the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico (TEC de Monterrey), the in Engineering and Knowledge Management (EGC) at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil (UFSC), and the Technological Sciences Park of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil (TECNOPUC), in alliance with numerous higher education institutions and organizations committed to the development of innovation in the Americas.

    The International Congress of Knowledge and Innovation (ciKi) is an itinerant event promoted by the Graduate Program in Engineering and Knowledge Management at the Federal University of Santa Catarina and has already passed through Brazil, Spain, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico and Panama.

    With the theme “DIGITAL SOCIETY FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT”, the 11th edition of the International Congress of Knowledge and Innovation (ciKi) took place on November 18 and 19, 2021, in virtual mode, in the city of Maringá, state of Paraná ( Brazil).

    CiKi 2021 is locally organized by the Graduate Program in Knowledge Management in Organizations (PPGGCO) at Cesumar University (Unicesumar).

    The Professional Graduate Program, in a National Network, in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation (PROFNIT) of the UEM focal point and the University of the Midwest of Paraná (UNICENTRO) also collaborated.

    The Foundation for Supporting Scientific and Technological Development of Paraná (Fundação Araucária) and the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) supported the event.

  • Anais do VIII Congresso Internacional de Conhecimento e Inovação (ciKi)

    The International Congress of Knowledge and Innovation - ciKi is a relevant Latin American space on Knowledge Management, Innovation, Knowledge Engineering and Knowledge Media, with an intense exchange of information among researchers around the world. The event is an initiative of the postgraduate program in Engineering and Knowledge Management of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). The 2018 edition takes place in Mexico, in the city of Guadalajara. With more than 15 lecturers of international renown, it has the following participations:
    • University of Guadalajara - with several units in the region of Jalisco with more than two centuries of tradition and represented by Miguel Ángel Navarro Navarro, Rector General University of Guadalajara.
    • Inter-American University Organization (OUI IOHE), an organization with a strong presence in the higher education community of the Americas and the College of the Americas (COLAM) - that develop and offer training programs with an inter-American, interdisciplinary and intercultural perspective.
    It is the eighth edition of the ciKi, with the central theme of "Habitats of innovation and the knowledge economy". Receiving hundreds of articles submitted, 128 of these articles were selected through blind-review.
    We thank the authors and reviewers and introduce the community to the selected articles.

  • Anais do VII Congresso Internacional de Conhecimento e Inovação (ciKi)

    O Congresso Internacional de Conhecimento e Inovação – ciKi se consolida como um espaço latino-americano para troca de experiências e teorias sobre Gestão do Conhecimento, Inovação, Engenharia do Conhecimento e Mídias do Conhecimento.

    O evento é uma iniciativa do programa de pós-graduação em Engenharia e Gestão do Conhecimento da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). Esta edição conta com o apoio da Itaipu Binacional e do Parque Tecnológico Itaipu (PTI), que sediará o evento. No PTI coabitam diversas entidades – acadêmicas, governamentais, empresariais – caracterizando-se como um ambiente de conexões e de uso compartilhado, propiciando trocas de experiências e integração entre pessoas e instituições.

    No ano de 2017, Foz do Iguaçu-PR receberá a VII edição do ciKi, que traz como tema “Conhecimento e inovação: energia para o desenvolvimento”.  Considerando a importância e atualidade do tema recebemos cerca de 300 artigos, sendo que aproximadamente 700 autores participaram desta etapa. A seleção dos 180 artigos para a apresentação, se deu devido ao empenho e a colaboração dos 101 avaliadores de diferentes universidades. Agradecemos aos autores e avaliadores e apresentamos a comunidade os artigos selecionados.

    O desenvolvimento econômico e social dos países não dependem de seus abundantes recursos naturais, mas sua capacidade de gerar conhecimento e converter este conhecimento em inovação. Apenas os países que conseguem efetivamente promover estratégias e participar da sociedade do conhecimento vão garantir o desenvolvimento de suas comunidades. Bogotá foi o local da VI edição do Congresso, cujo tema foi “Acelerar a inovação: fator decisivo para o desenvolvimento social“. Reuniu um conjunto de questões estratégicas destinadas a promover eficazmente os processos de inovação na região e compensar a falta de indicadores de desenvolvimento.

  • Gestão do conhecimento e capital intelectual como janela competitiva

    Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja – UTPL, Loja, Equador

     Realizado na cidade de Loja (Equador) e com o tema “Gestão do Conhecimento e Inovação”,  a 4ª edição do ciKi alcançou uma etapa importante em seu caminho, estabelecendo-se como um evento de classe mundial. Nesta ocasião teve a proposta de discutir e apresentar alternativas de inovação em contextos dinâmicos, acadêmicos, empresariais. Representantes de organizações governamentais e não governamentais foram chamados para discutir a direção da inovação organizacional, centrado nas pequenas e médias empresas.

  • Parques Tecnológicos e Capital Intelectual: Inovar em Tempos Turbulentos
    Vol. 1 No. 1 (2013)

    Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do SUL/TECNOPUC – PUCRS, Porto Alegre, Brasil

     Em 2013 aconteceu a 3º edição do ciKi, em Porto Alegre (Brasil), com o tema “Parques Científicos e Capital Intelectual: inovar em tempos turbulentos”. Assim como nas edições anteriores, participantes nacionais e internacionais apresentaram e discutiram o capital intelectual no desenvolvimento estratégico da inovação tecnológica e de cidades do conhecimento.

  • El Reto de Dinamizar la PYME y el Emprendimiento Innovador
    Vol. 1 No. 1 (2012)

    Universidad Autónoma de Madrid – UAM, Madri, Espanha

     Madri (Espanha) foi a sede da 2º edição do ciKi, em 2012. O tema central foi “El Reto De La PYMEs Y El Avance de Emprendimiento Innovador”, cujo objetivo principal foi dinamizar as PYME em ambientes conflituosos de gestão do conhecimento e capital intelectual, para competir em uma economia global.

  • GESTÃO DO CONHECIMENTO E INOVAÇÃO
    Vol. 1 No. 1 (2011)

    O evento, que tem como objetivo promover novas teorias, métodos e técnicas de Gestão do
    Conhecimento (GC) e Gestão da Inovação (GI), é gratuito e será realizado no bairro
    Canasvieiras, em Florianópolis.

    O tema do evento se realizará em consonância com o diagnóstico apontado pelo
    CONHECIMENTO E INOVAÇÃO PARA A COMPETITIVIDADE, produzido pelo
    BANCO MUNDIAL – Departamento do Brasil Unidade de Desenvolvimento Humano
    Região da América Latina e do Caribe, e editado pela CNI em 2008, onde se destacam os
    problemas do Brasil ao enfrentar os desafios da economia globalizada. As deficiências
    analisadas pelo estudo repercutem no processo de inovação nas empresas brasileiras, afetando
    negativamente a competitividade do País. Para inovar se faz necessário a quebra de
    paradigmas disciplinares, para se desenhar um caminho próprio a tensão criativa de um
    diálogo construtivo, permitindo inclusive a aproximação dos conhecimentos científicos,
    tecnológicos e teóricos empíricos.
    O CIKI 2011 contará com palestrantes internacionais e pesquisadores nacionais de referência.
    É uma iniciativa conjunta entre o Programa de Pós Graduação Engenharia e Gestão do
    Conhecimento da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (PPGEGC da UFSC) e
    Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (UDESC).
