Resumen

This article shows the results of an empirical investigation in which the application
of the organizational knowledge audit was carried out in the area of education and school
development of the Museo Parque Explora, in the city of Medellín. As part of the degree
work in the Masters in Management of Innovation and Knowledge at the Eafit University,
presented in 2018. To do this, initially, a literature review was made that tracked the concepts
of knowledge management and auditing. knowledge; these concepts were related, on the one
hand, with the museographic practice, and on the other, with the capitalization of knowledge,
competitive advantage and innovation. Subsequently, we proceed to build a methodological
route that integrates different proposals from different authors, to finally apply the
knowledge audit focused on the culture, people, processes, technology and strategy of the
area of education and school development of the museum. Finally, these data were analyzed
and problematized in order to present recommendations and guidelines.
