Research Groups that work in Fiocruz's scientific collaboration network that produce knowledge for the Brazilian population, constitute themselves in a different way in leadership in relation to gender and race? It was through the theoretical framework that deals with diversity, collaboration in a scientific network and coloniality and the extraction of data in platforms data extraction in the General Administration System to identify Researchers and Technologists and respectively race/ethnicity and gender and the Directory of National Research Groups to identify the groups and their leaders. The profile of researchers who work in scientific research in health is mostly female and white, which reinforces the advance of female insertion in the labor market of public administration, but demonstrates that the coloniality of power and racism prevail. Gender and ethnic-racial diversity can favor increased productivity and even reflect the transparency of deliveries to the Brazilian people, but it is still a great challenge to put into practice actions that promote the growth of equality.
