Abstract

This research is classified, regarding its nature, as applied, in relation to the approach to the problem as qualitative, and with regard to the objectives as exploratory. As an objective, this research aims to analyze the main motivators and inhibitors for the sharing of knowledge between the Public Security Intelligence units (ISP) in the State of Paraná, through the analysis of interviews with professionals who perform or have performed their functions in the activity of ISP in Paraná. With this research, it was shown that among the main motivators are: political motivation, altruism, personal commitment, intra-organizational integration and trust, whereas inhibitors stand out: ego, vanity, personal interests, lack of technical means and interests based on the identification of problems, this research enables the improvement of knowledge sharing processes.
