Abstract

The article presents a case study in a federal university to understand factors that permeate the implementation of digital artifacts in teaching. Six semi-structured interviews were carried out, prioritizing the strategic, tactical, operational (teacher), and client (student) points of view. Digital artifacts implemented/used were mapped, as well as the incentive motivations for their creation and/or implementation, the value added by these artifacts in the educational process, and, finally, the barriers to their implementation. As a result, it is observed that the implementation of digital artifacts can guarantee improvements to the teaching process if accompanied by more significant changes (cultural and strategic) in the organization.
