Abstract

The objective of this research is to design a knowledge management model for the management of programs in the distance modality in higher education institutions that recognizes the factors that affect the terminal efficiency of students; A reflection is made of how COVID-19 has come to revalue distance education, and more so now that it has become the first education option for the people and educational institutions in these pandemic times. In addition, the main explanatory models are presented in the analysis of the factors that influence education and their contribution to the administration of knowledge; as well as briefly presents the process that was followed for the identification, integration and debugging of the factors associated with the problem of school dropout of students.
