Abstract

Abstract: Lean has become a term widely known to describe a Production System. Currently the studies involving Lean are more focused on the implementation of its tools and the lean philosophy itself. Very few studies do have in its center the role of leadership as the main thematic of interest, and normally it is not being made any clear differentiation between managerial and leadership functions. The present study aims to identify attributes and behaviors associated with Lean Leadership. In this integrative literature review were analysed publications which present attributes or behaviors of leaders in the lean leadership model. The authors have analysed 32 articles and from which were identified 143 attributes or behaviors that were then grouped in 26 categories. In this study we have focused in the 10 more important categories in terms of major citations in the articles.
