In an increasingly competitive market, innovative companies with great growth potential, startups, are highlighted. Since such companies are composed of a reduced team, but with professionals with notorious knowledge, a study aimed at knowing the entrepreneurial capacities of managers is of great relevance. In this sense, this paper describes the profile of the manager, as well as the context in which the startup MedEOR Medtech is located, based at the Incubator and Accelerator of Innovative Businesses of Araranguá/SC. Along with such research, there is an approach to how the COVID-19 pandemic interferes in the business, a fact that corroborates the magnitude of the present study.
