Abstract

Leadership plays an important role in the organizational context and effective leadership communication can establish crucial connections to achieve goals. Leadership is based on communication, which generates influence and consequently results, promoting understanding and respect in the organizational environment. Thus, this research seeks to understand, through an integrative review, what are the existing relationships between communication and leadership to favor results in the current context. It was identified that communication in the organizational environment resides mainly in the diffusion of the purpose and alignment between employees, with the transformational leadership style being a facilitator of the achievement of organizational goals, by generating connection and trust between individuals.
