Abstract

Networks, in their different typologies, are increasingly essential for the competitiveness of organisms submitted to the complex environment of society 5.0. The study aims to discuss the nature and importance of relationship networks for Knowledge Management (KM), identifying the profile of scientific publications on the subject. Method: this is an article with a qualitative approach, regarding the literature review, and qualitative-quantitative, regarding the bibliometric analysis, with a descriptive and explanatory objective. Results: relationship networks are perceived as: (i) systematic, (ii) dialogic, (iii) recursive, (iv) hologrammatic and (v) having their own identity. Among scientific publications, there is a higher prevalence of research that focuses on technological aspects of networks and their ability to transmit knowledge.
