Abstract

Effective knowledge management is crucial to optimize healthcare processes, reduce medical errors, and promote a culture of continuous learning in the healthcare sector. This article presents a literature review on knowledge management and its implications in the healthcare field, highlighting successful strategies and practices that can be implemented to enhance quality and safety standards in healthcare services. It suggests points such as standardization of clinical protocols, identification and prevention of medical errors, patient safety culture, and patient engagement.
