Abstract

Collaboration in organizational contexts is on the rise, particularly in the public sector, where the emphasis on working together for knowledge creation, complex problem-solving, and the common good is fostering collaborative management. This research aims to identify evidence of the promotion of collaborative management in the Brazilian federal laws governing public administration. Documentary Research resulted in 19 laws, analyzed and categorized based on different activities in the field of management. The findings indicate that Brazilian federal laws promote collaborative management in public administration, particularly in activities related to the implementation of federal policies and actions, including collaboration in planning, assessment, supervision, monitoring, and oversight.
