Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyze social enterprises in the State of Paraná that present innovative solutions. To find the enterprises, it was necessary to use three registration bases: the Innovative Research in Small Businesses (PIPE Social), the Financing of Project Studies (FINEP) and the contact list of the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR). The study identified the potential of the observed social enterprises and perceived an opportunity to expand their performance for social transformation in a positive way. The social transformations generated by the planned projects focused on promoting sustainable economic development, empowering the rural producer, including the visually impaired person in society and reducing the social inequalities of children and adolescents with psychological disorders.
