Abstract

By enabling a large dissemination of information, VLE are increasingly present in
the educational field. However, it is necessary to point out that the EaD model does not reach
its maximum potential because it is, in most cases, a digital replica of traditional teaching
models. For this reason, it is necessary to investigate the elaboration process of these VLEs,
which KM processes are being applied in their instructional design, and to parameterize
whether the KM achieves the engagement and effectiveness necessary for quality teaching.
For the development of the work, a systematized review was developed, resulting in the
analysis of 22 articles from an initial universe of 49 articles. Results showed that although the
demand for distance learning courses has increased due to the pandemic, KM is still a process
that is little or not explored by teaching organizations.
