CREATIVE ECOSYSTEMS: THEORETICAL PERSPECTIVES IN THE LIGHT OF A INTEGRATIVE REVIEW

The era of knowledge brings with it a new perspective on research that seeks to understand the social and economic arrangements, or systems, that drive territorial development. From this perspective, the terminology creative ecosystem emerged to designate these networks based on creativity, culture and symbolic capital, but this is still characterized as a nomenclature on the rise. In this context, this article seeks to understand the scientific panorama on creative ecosystems and, to this end, outlines an integrative review on the topic based on articles collected in Scopus, Web of Science and Ebsco. Through the review, it was possible to integrate the knowledge present in the corpus and contribute to the formation of a unified definition, as well as the characterization of actors, benefits and challenges of these ecosystems.
