Abstract

Abstract: A literature review is a fundamental step in any scientific research, as it allows the identification of the state of the art in a particular field of knowledge. This study presents the results of an integrative review that investigated the strategies and methods employed in the collection, extraction, and analysis of data in integrative literature reviews developed within the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Engineering, Knowledge Management, and Media (PPGEGC) at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. The results reveal that, for data extraction, the integrative reviews from PPGEGC employed strategies such as thorough reading of studies, the use of standardized forms, and software-assisted extraction. Regarding data analysis, most of the studies utilized thematic analysis.
