Abstract

Corporate education followed the qualification needs of workers with the emergence of each industrial revolution. Each revolution had as a characteristic the technology employed in the productive process, which consequently required new individual and organizational competences aimed at building competitive advantages. Through a review of the literature in international databases this research analyzed Brazilian and Chinese experiences of corporate education that confirmed the need and importance of the alignment of the corporate universities with the strategy of the organizations and the need of corporate education programs to guarantee the formation Workers aligned organizational needs overcoming the gaps of academic universities. It was also evidenced that in most cases the corporate education programs are limited to the training of the employees of the organizations, with few cases that the training is extended to the other organizational stakeholders. In this way, the present study allowed to identify the theoretical-empirical to analyze the corporate education system in Brazil and China.
