A QUALITY OF INFORMATION IN EAD ENVIRONMENT IN THE PUBLIC SECURITY AREA

The quality of the information provided by distance courses has received recurrent attention in the literature. This article foresees the application and the contribution of the instrument SERVQUAL for evaluation of the quality of the information in courses of distance education, offered to professionals of the public security. After a review of the quality literature, an analysis of the application of a survey involving such professionals was carried out, which addressed five dimensions of information quality. A comparison was made between the expectations and perceptions of the students of the public security institution and through the verification of the obtained gap, an analysis of the actions necessary to implement improvements was carried out aiming a propitiatory to the student’s content relevant and adequate for the performance of their activities labor markets.
