Abstract

Against a background of new perspectives the great challenge of vocational training has echoed in the different segments of the creative economy. The topics addressed seek to grasp aspects of this orientation provided by the area of culture and education to guide institutions, and society in general. The overall objective was to describe the training of creative entrepreneurs in Porto Alegre who are qualifying their business. The research method was qualitative and descriptive using bibliographic techniques and analysis of secondary data from a non-probability sampling. It is inferred that the city of Porto Alegre presented a spatial fragmentation of the creative enterprises and its results point to a concentration in the gastronomy, fashion sectors; crafts, design and arts in addition to software development. It was possible to conclude that the enterprises of creative economy stand out with a high schooling and formation.
