Abstract

The first models to explain turnover appeared in the literature in the 1950s and since then new proposals are being debated. The objective of this study is to present a bibliometric analysis of quantitative studies published in Brazil on reasons for organizational turnover. A structured search led to a final sample of 51 studies. The results showed the relevance and growth of the topic in the last years, as well as the need for deeper investigations about turnover and its antecedents in the Brazilian context.
