Abstract

The resistance to the change is a situation that can complicate, and even impede, the success of any internationalization initiative. The purpose of this paper is to show the validity and reliability of a questionnaire designed to measure the resistance of teachers to the change associated with including the international dimension in the teaching practice. Exploratory Factor Analysis was used for content and construct validity. The reliability was determined using coefficient Cronbach’s Alpha (), and Mcdonalds omega () as an alternantive method. The Scores that were obtained demonstrated good internal consistency ( = .857 and  = .843). The contribution of this article is to offer the scientific community an adequate instrument to measure the resistance of teachers as a factor that makes it difficult the internationalization of the curriculum in Higher Education.
