Resumen

Maker communities represent a contribution to the management of organizations by opening a space for sharing and creating knowledge. This resource corroborates the knowledge management in the aspects of promoting the creativity of the people and concomitant in the organizational learning. This article has the objective to bring the elements that involve the maker communities as potential for the creation and sharing of knowledge in organizations, resulting in the development of concepts capable of generating innovation in the organization. The research is qualitative and uses as strategy for the search of data a bibliographic study, resulting in valueding aspects that the use of this tool can creates in the communities and developmenting the sensory and cognitive universes of the people and the group involved, generating the new capabilities conducive to innovation.
